Simple Soft Tone Easter Tablescape

Things are feeling a different these days.  Entertaining is definitely taking a back seat and Easter is surely to be a more intimate affair this year.  It's all about simplicity and being grateful for our blessings.

And if you are anything like me, a pretty tablescape is one of the things that always brings you joy and it's fun to look at.  It just takes the mind to a happy place for a few minutes.  So if you are looking for a simple yet beautiful Easter table, then I’ll share a few tips for putting all together! Sit back and enjoy...

Tip 1 - Mix It Up

Look for flexibility in your dishes and don't be afraid to mix it up when planning your design. Here, white plates are mixed with vintage floral plates to create a table that is both beautiful and bursting with spring inspiration!

If you prefer pattern, then go for a delicate and colorful floral motif such as the dinnerware pictured below from Lenox.

Tip 2 - Bring In The Spring Flowers

While the overall color palette is soft tones, bring in color with your florals.  Spring flowers such as tulips, hyacinths, lilacs, crocus, and daffodils are a great choice.  Just place a bunch in a pretty pitcher to accentuate the cheerful shades of your table.  Luckily, the lilacs in my garden provide plenty of spring charm and visual eye candy.

Tip 3 - Add Color

Be intentional with color! Use napkins and table runners that compliment your color scheme to add a pop of color to your table.  Colored glassware is another  easy way to incorporate whisper-soft color.

Tip 4 - Incorporate Holiday Decor

Use Easter eggs and dainty flowers as part of your décor.  For this table, I used a small bowl to make this fun and happy accent that was the perfect way to complete my place setting.  I filled it with a bunch of Spanish moss, added a couple of wooden eggs, and a few small spring flowers.  Such a sweet touch!

This table has the perfect level of elegance and sophistication.  It has an understated Easter theme which that can easily translate to spring.

However you decide to set your table this Easter, nothing will be more important and meaningful than having your loved ones gathered around your table.  There is no better blessing!!  Be safe and strong friends.
