Focus. Finally.

With all the hub bub on DBA 3.0, I have taken a break from the game and its painting projects. I have been assembling 28mm Colonials. I have been putting colors on various Flames of War Early Germans. A dab here and a clean up there. Throw in vacation and I can state emphatically that my hobby productivity has been virtually nil as has been my play time. Well all that is about to change. My good friend and fellow blog co-host, Jan, has introduced our group to a great game called Might & Reason in 6mm. I'm hooked. Its a great system and I will be looking to get my hands on some Baccus 6mm figs to paint up. Army(Armies) TBD. In the interim, with FALL IN coming in late October, I am determined to paint up a new army for one of the DBA events. Chris (Huzzah Hobbies) ordered me the excellent range of Lombard figures from Baueda/Hostis. Very nice casts. I will be creating all options lists for both III/2 (Early Lombards) and III/21 (Italian Lombards) with these figures. The schedule will be tight as it normally takes me 3 months to paint up a DBA army. Wish me luck! If there is interest, I will post up my normal array of project status photos.
